We finally decided to try this place. We were surprised at how nice it was. The seating host was a little preoccupied (on his phone). Once the manager saw us waiting and started towards us, he got up and seated us. The server was at our table promptly and took our beverage order. We decided what we wanted to eat and she took our order. The food was good, and the server checked on us several times. The prices were reasonable also. We would suggest this restaurant to others.
Pretty standard Tex Mex place. Nothing special, wasn't terrible either. I had their platter with a cheese enchilada, a beef enchilada, a bean chalupa, a crispy beef taco, a chili con queso tosada, rice and beans. My favorite was the bean chalupa and the rice. Everything else was just ok. The meat in the taco and beef enchilada was flavorless. They used the same cheese on everything, the tostada, the cheese enchilada, etc. Service was good, the building was older but clean.
Quite an inexpensive options! I can not call the Jose's a Fine dining place, but food was good. I think it is great for lunch. Very authentic Mexican 🌮🌯 dishes. I have had Enchilada Dinner Grande (three different enchiladas), see photo. Great fresh and tasty chips with delicious salsa. Great service. Thank you!
Beautiful restaurant, decent service, and it gave me hope that the food would be incredible. However, it left me in disappointment. It was Taco Casa or Taco Bell on a plate. No flavor, just smothered and covered in canned cheese. Every dish at the table was nearly identical but all different meals.
Excellent food. In the 10 years I have eaten here I have yet to have a bad meal.

The remodeling looks really good. And even the food tasted better than normal.

Our family has enjoyed Jose's for many, many years. Their menu has a variety of choices for everyone in the party. Reasonably priced and the food is always consistent. When we come into B/CS, we try to stop by!
We used to get great food and we loved this place. On our last visit my wife and I had enchiladas. They were definitely not the quality of food we have had there in the past. The cheese tasted like slices of Kraft cheese that was melted for the enchiladas. This was not at all what we experienced in the past.
